I stumbled upon this while going through some old family pictures, and couldn’t resist posting the photo. Simple times recalling snazzy bow ties, dapper tweed sport jackets, nerdy glasses, and let’s not forget those incredibly flattering bangs for girls. We may not have been “cool” by any measure of the day, but we were happy, carefree, and cherished. We were part of a generation that experienced the fullness of childhood–joyous freedom coupled with life lessons about responsibility–and were blessed.
