Inexpensive bird houses from the local craft store provided the fuel for a burst of spring creativity as Anna, her mother-in-law, and I busied ourselves with paper, paint, glue, and lots and lots of glitter.
A whirlwind of activity presents itself this time of year–yard clean up, taxes, along with the ever present commitments of life–and the crafty diversion allowed us to create something “springy” that could not only be enjoyed beyond Easter, but more importantly made us laugh and smile at our whimsical habitats.
