With the marvelous bounty of berries currently making their way into our kitchen and ultimately the freezer, Anna had a craving for berry lemonade. With her help we quickly put this together, and it certainly hit the spot. Let this be a starting point for creative variations.
- 1 cup cold water
- 3/4 cup assorted frozen berries… I use marionberry, boysenberry, and blueberry
- 1 TBS fresh lemon juice… great time to use the juice previously frozen in an ice cube tray
- 1 TBS pear/pineapple sweetener
Blend everything in a powerful mixer, such as Vitamix. If not consumed right away, the seeds will begin to settle, but it still tastes wonderful!
